Competitive 2011 Outdoor and Indoor Competitive Team Assessments Tryout Times Click Here 2010 Outdoor Teams Competitive Soccer is for the player looking for a greater level of competition. Teams are normally selected after a tryout period and not all players are guaranteed a position or equal playing time. Team policy should be discussed with the coach. All competitive teams require a higher level of commitment. Players should expect 2-3 events on a weekly basis from early April to mid September. Tryouts and indoor practice may be expected in other months. Most teams will also have additional costs over and above registration fees for team apparel, additional training and tournaments. Intermediate teams play in the London and District Youth Soccer League (LDYSL) Travel may include centres such as Woodstock, St. Thomas, Strathroy and Chatham.
Premier is the next level above intermediate. There is generally more travel to centres such as Kitchener, Guelph and Sarnia.
Players and parents should be prepared for travel in Southwestern Ontario and a significant time and effort commitment.
